Rebecca Campbell
Born in England and raised in Ireland, Rebecca Campbell (b. 1965) grew up in the countryside, surrounded by animals and birds, gardens and literature, all of which she incorporates into boldly designed, highly imaginative artwork. She is known for her paintings and murals, as well as illustration and design work. Her pictorial language is influenced by her travels and her interests in medieval tapestries, Persian textiles, and Indian Mughul miniatures. In her fantastical scenes, you’ll often find peacocks, palm trees, and elephants (she is the in-house artist and ambassador for the charity Elephant Family). She lives and works in South London.
